EARLY RICH MULLINS CONCERT RECORDING DISCOVERED

Ragamuffin Archive is thrilled to announce the discovery of a rare, previously unreleased recording of a Rich Mullins concert, unearthed by our longtime friend Andrew Montonera. This unique performance was captured during a singles retreat weekend in Kent County, Michigan in September of 1984, and offers an intimate glimpse into the early career of the beloved Christian musician. The recording was made possible thanks to the diligent efforts of Becky Speirs, who originally recorded the event. The tape features a diverse set list, including the following tracks:

O Come All Ye Faithful
New Heart
Always Here With Me
Hallelujah
Hello Old Friends
See What A Difference
Can’t Go to Sleep
A Few Good Men
Love Of Another Kind
Rest Assured
Where I Ought to Be
Rings of Eternity
I Surrender All/My Jesus, I Love Thee
Elijah

This discovery not only adds a new dimension to the understanding of Rich Mullins’ musical journey but also highlights the enduring dedication of his fans and researchers. Ragamuffin Archive is excited to continue preserving the legacy of Rich Mullins by sharing this remarkable piece of Christian music history with the world.
